    When students practice mindfulness, it awakens their inner wisdom and awareness, yet it’s easy to stop practicing—we often resist the very habits that bring us ease and healing. This second 5-week course re-establishes practices of meditation and mindfulness, and provides new instruction on self-compassion, inner-reflection, meditation, and everyday mindfulness practices. (*The course is reserved for people who’ve taken Mindfulness 101.)

    About the teacher: Joy Jordan is a former statistics professor who left academia to better align her inner and outer lives. Now she teaches meditation and mindfulness. Joy’s classes include active practice, accessible exercises, and heartfelt teachings.

    Tai Chi Easy TM-8 week introduction - This course consists of both Tai Chi and Qigong movements - a warm up and a cool down, self-massage, breath exercises, and meditation. Participants develop their abilities to focus and concentrate in a deep state of relaxation through breath practices, movement, meditation and self-massage providing simple, effective self-care skills that can be used throughout life and well into the "successful aging" process. Consistently practicing Tai Chi and Qigong can help you manage stress and pain, reduce anxiety, improve sleep, mood, balance, and stamina. No experience necessary.

    Tai Chi & Qigong Practice Group - Consistently practicing Tai Chi and Qigong can help you manage stress and pain, reduce anxiety, improve sleep, mood, balance, and stamina. These Tai Chi/Qigong Practice sessions are for those students who have previously taken the Tai Chi Easy course. We will continue to practice the Tai Chi 5- Tai Chi Easy system to include self-acupressure, breathing and meditation. We will also continue to learn additional Tai Chi and Qigong movements.
