    This class is designed to teach participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants.
    It also covers victim assessment and emergency response. Adult, Child, and Infant CPR Certification is good for two years.
    Loaned course books are provided at the first class or may be purchased at the Red Cross office.
    Students must be 12 years of age or older.

    136205 - Lifeguard Training

    Qualify to be a lifeguard by passing this course.
    Prerequisites: Be 15 years of age on or before the last day of class and able to swim 300 yards continuously. Participants must also be able to swim 20 yards using front crawl or breaststroke, surface dive to a depth of 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10 pound object, return to the surface, and swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object within 1 minute 40 seconds. Course includes First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Course books are provided on the first day of class. Lifeguard Training is good for 3 years, First Aid and CPR Professional certification is valid for 2 years.
    At 1819 Witzke Blvd in Appleton Memorial Park and West Pool, 610 N Badger Avenue in West High School.

Classes meet at the Telulah Park river access. The Fox Valley Rowing Club provides instruction and equipment. FEE: $75 for the Monday and Wednesday class, $65 for the weekend class.

Do some shopping at such famous stores as Nieman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Disney Store and American Girl. However you plan to spend your day, Michigan Avenue is always full of excitement.     311618 - Little Hitters Tennis Camp - Session II

    Children ages 4 through 7 are invited to join us for an exciting 4 week introduction to the great game of tennis. Our Little Hitters Camp utilizes the United States Tennis Associationís "QuickStart" format to help kids learn and experience the game in a way that is both enjoyable and rewarding, with lighter racquets, larger low-bounce tennis balls, and smaller court dimensions.
    Registration is based on the age your child will be on the first day of camp.

    WHAT TO BRING: Athletic shoes, water bottle

    312101 - Jazz - Summer

    This exciting, upbeat style emphasizes proper body alignment and clean technique. Classes include stretch and strength exercise, a barre warm-up, across the floor exercises, combinations and center floor work. Students will work on body isolations, musicality, and turns, kicks and jumps. Ballet is strongly recommended as an enhancement to this class and essential for those striving toward the highest level of skill.
    Attire: A leotard and skirt/shorts or fitted dance attire that is comfortable to move in. Tops such as tanks or fitted tees are acceptable. Bottoms may include shorts (with tights), yoga or jazz capris and leggings. Wearing fitted clothing allows your teacher to be sure you are moving your body in the correct way to prevent injury. Black jazz shoes, either slip on or lace up are required.
