This is a fun, energetic class combining street dance, hip-hop and jazz. This style of dance can be seen in music videos. Class will be tasteful and age appropriate.
Attire: It is preferred if you wear loose or baggy clothing that you are comfortable moving in. Acceptable attire includes tank tops, t-shirts, sweat pants, dance pants, shorts, athletic apparel, etc. Students should have black hip hop shoes. Advanced Hip hop students should have "double platinum sequin sneakers" (Converse style) dance shoes.

All students perform in the recital scheduled for March 2019. Participants should anticipate an additional cost for costumes of approximately $48 - $69. Costume payments will be due by Oct.1st. Skill level descriptions and attire requirements are available at

Please plan to attend our parent informational meeting on Tuesday, August 7 from 6-7 p.m. in Studio 2A in City Center Plaza, where you can meet the instructors, tour the facility, purchase UDA apparel and ask questions.

Registration received after August 15 will require an additional $10 fee. Final deadline for all registration is September 19!

Thank you for registering for Dance or Acrobatic classes with Unity Dance Academy. All students perform in the recital scheduled for March 2019. Again this year, easy online credit or debit option available through the Parks and Recreation online account for costume payments due by October 1. If you do not know your UserName and Password, email and request that it be sent to you. You can also pay by mail or at 1St Floor Customer Service, 100 N. Appleton St. in City Hall. The instructors are not able to accept or process payments, therefore please do not take payments to class. Beginner costume cost is $47.25, Intermediate Costume Cost is $57.75 and Advanced Costume Cost is $68.25.
