A beginner-level class using the Scratch programming language. Students will drag and drop blocks into position to build their code. During the class, we'll create several different games that students will be able to share with friends and family using the Scratch community! Bring your own computer.

Our most intricate class. You’ll write your own code in Java. Go into the code of Minecraft to figure out how to change it. In this class you’ll create your own mod for Minecraft 1.7.2 (currently the most and widely modded version of Minecraft). Students will get instruction and write, create or discover every line of code themselves. Work in modding teams - yes, you can sign up with friends to form your own development teams!

New for 2017! Students will use the Unity Game Engine to create several simple games. They’ll become adept at building games, creating simple menus and different ways to accept player input. Using the power of the C# language we’ll build fun this summer! This is an excellent next step from the Minecraft modding or Scratch class.
